BitNami Liferay Stack

BitNami Liferay stack is an easy-to-install distribution of the Liferay portal software. It includes pre-configured, ready to run versions of Tomcat and MySQL, so users can get Liferay install up and running in minutes after answering a few questions. Currently, Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X are supported.

    Release Notes: This release updates Tomcat to 7.0.25 and fixes an image issue in the welcome page.

      Release Notes: This release updated Liferay to 6.1.0 GA1, Tomcat to 7.0.23, JDK to 1.6.0_27, and MySQL to 5.5.16. MySQL binary logging was disabled. Admin credentials are now configured from the installer. The default value is user@liferay.com.

        Release Notes: This release updates Liferay to 6.0.6, adds support for 64-bit, adds a graphical tool for managing servers, and doesn't allow you to execute the ctlscript.sh script as root when the stack is installed as a non-root user.

        Release Notes: MySQL was updated to 5.1.50. Tomcat was updated to 6.0.26. URIEncoding UTF-8 is used for Tomcat. Java was updated to 1.6.0_18. Liferay was updated to 6.0.5.

        Release Notes: Installation on Windows was fixed. Liferay was upgraded to 5.2.3.
